Rules of the Game
Due to the outdoor nature of our program, children must be toilet trained. This means no diapers or pull-ups.
For children who have not had previous preschool group experience without a parent or for children who are new to Cherry Preschool, please contact the Camp Director, Maggie Hessler, before enrolling. We take this position in the best interest of the children as summer camp may not be a good place to work on separation issues.
We strive to create groupings of children based on friendships and to balance the groupings by age.
Absences for any reason do not reduce tuition. There are no refunds for non-attendance due to vacations or illness.
Children may be enrolled for the full six weeks of camp or individual weeks to meet the needs of those with summer travel plans.
Families of children with disabilities and/or developmental delays should contact, Jenny York, Child Development and Inclusion Director to determine the appropriateness of the camp program for their child.
Camp Staff
Each camp group has a lead teacher and assistant teacher. High school students serve as counselors, under the supervision of our teaching staff. Junior counselors assist with indoor and outdoor activities, and snack.
Enrollment
Returning families that apply by January 26 at 9:00 AM are guaranteed placement in camp. Applications received after the registration deadline will be processed on a first come, first served basis.
Families who are interested in camp for their child, but cannot commit to the full six week program, may enroll for individual weeks.
Families with children not yet toilet trained should complete an application and submit it without payment to be placed on the waiting list in order of date received. As appropriate spaces become available for recently toilet trained campers, the $100 initial non-refundable payment will be required to hold the space.
Fees
$ 995 for the 6-week program or $200 per week ($150 per week 1 & 3)
$100 non-refundable payment due with your application
