Marci Rubin: Development Director

Marci Rubin is in her second year at Cherry Preschool as Development Director. Before coming to Cherry, she was at Providence St. Mel School in Chicago’s Garfield Park neighborhood for over 20 years. She served as Development Associate for Grants and Foundations for six years. Before her time as a grant writer, she spent time in the classroom as a middle school teacher, administrator, and instructional coach. She received her bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education and English from Indiana State University and a Masters of Education from Loyola University Chicago. In her free time, she enjoys serving the community as a member of The Woman’s Club of Evanston, playing volleyball and softball, and team trivia. Marci lives in South Evanston with her husband, her daughter who is a sophomore at ETHS, and an energetic labradoodle.
