Lindsey Underway: Child Development and Inclusion Director

Lindsey Underway is excited to join the Cherry staff and community for the 2023-24 school year as Cherry’s Child Development and Inclusion Director. Before starting at Cherry, Lindsey worked as both an early childhood educator and developmental interventionist. Originally a Chicagoan, she spent the last 9 years living in Colorado working in an inclusive preschool with toddlers. Lindsey has a BA in Psychology from North Park University and a MA in Early Childhood Special Education from University of Colorado Denver. She is an artist living in Chicago and loves incorporating her creative passion into her work with children. When she is not working with children or painting, she loves to visit her family in the suburbs, cook, and explore the city.
